During the 2021 fire season, Andy and I flew ATGS missions in Arizona & Washington. It was Andy's first year in Wildland Fire aviation. He quickly became competent. Andy is easy to work with, enjoys flying Commanders, spends time learning about the plane you are flying (as no two Commanders are the same), and is interested in both instructing and learning from his students. I completed my initial training in my Commander 690A with Andy and have since done two annual recurrent training sessions with him.
