About Andy Goodreau - Engineer and Pilot

Andy is a versatile professional with a background in engineering, aviation, and business. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota and expanded his abilities with a master’s degree in Spanish. It was during his university years that Andy’s passion for aviation took off—earning his pilot’s license and pursuing advanced certifications. Blending technical and business acumen, Andy later earned an MBA from Louisiana State University and thrived as an engineer and project manager for Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. and Latin America. After becoming a flight instructor, Andy found a deep sense of purpose in teaching and mentoring new pilots.
In 2020, Andy made a bold decision to transition into aviation, deepening his appreciation for turbo prop operation while flying missions for the U.S. Department of the Interior and Department of Natural Resources. He also developed a connection to Cirrus aircraft, later becoming a Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP) and helping pilots master the aircraft’s advanced systems and safety features through scenario-based training.
Andy also supports pilots throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America, providing insurance-approved training and operational guidance for both domestic and international flying missions.
