Andy is a great instructor. I have flown my Turbine Commander 900 to 23 countries, 6 continents, and the North and South Poles. I thought I knew the plane pretty well, but Andy was able to teach me a few things that made me an even better pilot. He is easy to work with and I recommend him!

I am walking away with the knowledge and confidence that I can fly and handle the plane effectively and efficiently. Andy knows the plane inside and out and is very patient and passionate about passing on that information. His calm demeanour has made the training very enjoyable.

During the 2021 fire season, Andy and I flew ATGS missions in Arizona & Washington. It was Andy's first year in Wildland Fire aviation. He quickly became competent. He's professional, personable, and has excellent pilot skills. His communication ensured smooth Crew Resource Management for ATGS missions. Andy's flexibility and focus on safety were appreciated.

Andy is easy to work with, enjoys flying Commanders, spends time learning about the plane you are flying (as no two Commanders are the same), and is interested in both instructing and learning from his students. You will not find this combination in any other instructor who flies Commanders. He truly is a breath of fresh air.
